Dispense summer support

As the warm weather approaches, here’s how you can prevent down time to make sure your dispense equipment is in the best possible shape to continually pour cold, fizzy soft drinks.

Keep condenser grill clean

For icecore 15 & 30, remove condenser guard by lifting upwards holding the guard handles (no tools required). Brush the condenser grill with a stiff brush then refit the condenser cover when finished.

Keep all sides of the cooler free from obstructions

Storing items on top or too close causes over-heating.

Make sure the pump box is topped-up to the Max line with water or glycol

To top up the pump box, turn the power off to the cooler first. Remove the fill cap circled. Fill up to the 'Max' line. Put cap back on, soak up excess water and turn the cooler back on. The Pump Box will be mounted on the wall within 1.5 metres of the cooler.

Ensure the Heat Dump isn't obstructed

Ensure there isn't anything obstructing the fan at the front and grill at the rear. The Heat Dump will be mounted to a wall on the outside of the building.

Monitor the temperature in the room by checking the thermal strip

The thermal strip should not be in the red. The room in which the cooler is located needs to be well ventilated to avoid over-heating. Try to increase airflow in the room by keeping doors and windows open. If the cooler is struggling in extreme temperatures, a fan can be positioned towards the condenser to aid airflow.

If you have followed the guidelines, but the drinks are dispensing warm and flat, please ring the Britvic technical helpline on 03457 581 781. Please have your account number ready.
